Geocache Description:

A cache just off of the Clark and Lewis trail

The cache is placed off of the Clark Trail (4.5 miles) in the Weldon Spring Conservation Area (MDC). A trailhead with parking is located at N38 41.472 W90 43.462. The trail provides exquisite views of the bluff and Missouri River but can be muddy during wet periods. Seasonal hunting is allowed in the area so check the info board at trailhead for dates. Since this is off trail dress and plan accordingly. This is a short but steep bushwhack with areas of loose rock that makes for bad footing. The object for which this cache was named is fragile so please be careful.
