Geocache Description:

A short hike to find a large cache in the Tahuya Forest

Closest parking is the Sand Hill Pit:
N47 28.510
W122 52.493

The cache is less than a mile round-trip from parking - even less if you have a 4X4 and park at the far side of the Pit. If you have a regular 2WD car like me, you will want to park near the road and walk across the Pit to find the trail at these coordinates:
N47 28.416
W122 52.623

Follow the trail until it forks and from there it’s up to you. There are quite a few old trails here and most of them lead down the big hill towards the creek. This is good because that’s where YOU want to be!

Cache is a green five-gallon bucket loaded with goodies.
