Geocache Description:

An old country store that was built of cobblestones around 1920.

I remember coming here as a child and getting thick bottles of Dr Pepper, Squirt or Fanta. The store often had homemade bread, pies and cookies and home grown garden vegetables. My father loved to fish at nearby Lake Lawtonka and we would stop here for picnic supplies. This was also a gas station with the tall lighted gas pumps that had windows to see the orange gasoline bubbling through the pump.

Today it serves as "Ann's Country Kitchen" with delicious home cooked food. The merangue pies are about 6 inches tall and the cinnamon rolls are as big as your plate. You can get buffalo burgers here and great Navajo tacos.
