This cache is a reminder of the not-so-smart things we might do to find a cache. But don't worry...you don't have to do anything too crazy to get this one.
This cache was inspired on the two trips it took us to finish a nearby cache, "Whistle in the Dark" (GCQCE4) It not only took two trips, but also resulted two cachers going through the ice and required a metal pipe to successfully log this one.
On the way back to the car, I reflected on some of the crazy things we did to get that cache, and other caches. We scouted out this hiding spot on the way to "Whistle in the Dark" so it will be another find along the Cataraqui Trail. This trail is well positioned for a caching marathon, whether by hiking or biking.
The container is an ammo can with some goodies that will be appreciated by those who are always on the go. There is also a special FTF prize for the lucky finder.
Feel free to share some of your caching antics in both logs.
Small parking area for 1 or 2 cars is at N 44° 26.042 W 076° 32.361
Congrats to Runaway46 on the FTF!
