This cache has been archived.

Prime Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

The container is a rubbermaid box covered in camo-tape. Easy park and find.

"Howdy Neighbor Day" is an annual event in Fritch, Texas. J. D. Walton, ex-mayor of Fritch was instrumental in getting Howdy Neighbor Day started. It was a big event during the 1960's and 1970's, beginning with an early morning parade down Main Street followed by games and food and picnic in the park. Residents of this small Panhandle town all looked forward to this annual event!
