Geocache Description:

This small cache in the city of Casper is made harder because of the amount of traffic in the area.

At the founding of Narnia Jadis the witch snatches the arm off a lamp-post in London to use as a weapon. Shortly, through a strange series of circumstances Digory, Polly, Uncle Andrew, the Cabby, his horse Strawberry, and the witch with her weapon are transported to a dark, empty world. After their arrival, a Voice begins to sing, stars appear suddenly, the sun rises, and then they see that the Voice is coming from a magnificent Lion. As the Lion paces to and fro the hills become covered with green grass, and baby trees appear and grow maturity before their eyes. The witch hates this world and the Lion. She throws her weapon striking the Lion between the eyes. The light post bar bounces off and falls into the grass, but the Lion continues his pace singing his song as though nothing has happened. Everyone watches as a new world is born. At one point Digory watches a most amazing spectacle.

“When [Uncle Andrew] saw what Digory was looking at, even he began to take an interest. It was a perfect little model of a lamp-post, about three feet high but lengthening, and thickening in proportion, as they watched it; in fact growing just as the trees had grown.

"'It’s alive too—I mean, it’s lit,' said Digory. And so it was; though, of course, the brightness of the sun made the little flame in the lantern hard to see unless your shadow fell on it.

'Remarkable, most remarkable,' muttered Uncle Andrew. 'Even I never dreamt of Magic like this. We’re in a world where everything, even a lamp-post, comes to life and grows. Now I wonder what sort of seed a lamp-post grows from?'

'Don’t you see?' said Digory. 'This is where the bar fell—the bar she tore off the lamp-post at home. It sank into the ground and now it’s coming up as a young lamp-post.' (But not so very young now; it was as tall as Digory while he said this.)"

This is a small cache. It holds a few small items. If you trade a small item and the lid won't close, just take something and leave nothing. This is a very busy area. This cache requires super-ingenious stealth such as going after business hours, parking far enough away to take a stroll to the cache, then sitting and "resting" if someone goes by, or parking nearby and pretending to check some problem on your car. (If you do this make sure you use your GPSr for a "cell phone" so passers-by think that you are already calling for assistance.)
