Sick Kitty Traditional Cache
Krypton: As there's been no response to the previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it
Thanks for your cooperation!

I seem to have inherited a cat from my nephew, and...
I've had a cache in the middle of this causeway for a while now, and it's quite a hike out to get it. Less of a bike, but still...I felt sorry for all my fellow couch potato cachers and, since I was biking out to check on my cache this morning anyway, decided to put caches nearer the ends of the causeway. You can park at the park and ride and walk or bike up--it's not far, even for the most sedentary couch potato.
You'll see why I titled the cache what I did when you find it. Think $300 vet bill.
Ouch.
(and a note in response to the grumbles about trash near the cache: This is a very nice little spot. With your back to the freeway you see a bit of nature tucked into a corner of human stuff. This morning I was out checking on a cache down the way and stopped by this one too. I saw lupines, birds in the air, birds in the water, birds in the trees. Fish jumping. Beautiful blue sky. I walked away from there with a bag o' trash that I dumped in the can at the park 'n' ride. Ladies and gents, we're geocachers. Rather than curse the darkness, let's light a candle by hauling out some of the trash (much less there now than when I first came out there, by the way). If everyone who finds this cache hauls out a few pieces of garbage with them when they go, guess what? No more trash. Problem solved, yes?)
Another note on August 7, 2007: I went out this morning with Jimlips and Penny and yep, the cache was there--completely uncovered, in fact. When you find the cache you will notice that it is covered by three chunks of the substance referred to in the hint...they aren't just there randomly, so when you're done, please put them back exactly where you found them.
