Read A Good Book Lately? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

PPRubens: Well, this dampened my spirit a bit, and I presume my other two book caches are sitting ducks for the same fate. Sorry folks. Tried to put some worthwhile caches in accessible places but I guess the temptation to steal is too great. May put a log-only cache here some other time because I really enjoy the walk out to this peaceful little corner.

Geocache Description:

***Please make sure ammo can is in upright position to ensure water does not get in!***>

I have modified the coordinates on 7/7/07. You no longer have to go into the woods and fight the mosquitos and who knows what else. The cache is located in the same area. See hint for more help.

This cache contains books either pertaining to history, historical fiction, or contain an element of Europe.

Consider this a "treasure" cache -- These books are for the taking. I do not require a trade because who of us carries around books to trade when they geocache? Not I. However, I want these books to have a good home and for you geocachers to enjoy them. I don't pay much for these books and the enjoyment I get from finding these gems and providing a worthwhile and fun geocache is worth much more. Take them! I have plenty more where these came from just waiting for book hungry geocachers like me.

I don't live too far away but if you could please note the title and author in the log so I can keep the contents updated on this page.

Please note the book you selected in your log and if at all possible, please log later on a review of the book after you've read it.

Also, should you read the book and like a different book in the cache, feel free to grab or swap for another one.

The cache is a large ammo can in the region which formerly was home to my now archived Tours of Europe 4 & 5.
