This was a fun first cache placement for my boys and I. The youngest is 2.5 years old, and he did not have too much trouble getting to the site, although there were several fallen trees that I needed to help him over.
This cache is within view of beautiful Clearfork Lake in Knob Noster State Park in West Central Missouri - there is a trail that will get you within about 300 feet of the cache - then you are on your own! This was placed in the Spring, so there was no under-brush to worry about - not so sure how the summer months will change the landscape... The cache was filled with stuff from a 2, 4, and 5 year old, so there is a matchbox car, a lego, some stickers, a McDonald toy and some Canadian Money (They thought the "Duck Dollar" - the Loon - Would go well with the birds migrating back North - and there were plenty of Canadian Geese to be seen at Clearfork!) As always, there is a log and a pencil. The container is a small 7"x2" plastic cylinder that has a big yellow smiley-face sticker on the outside...
