If you are AT the
posted coordinates you are :
A. On an old railroad bed North of the long defunct
‘Lakeshore and Southern Michigan Railway’, or.....
B. At one of the EARLY freight & passenger stopping
points but I wouldn’t expect any trains soon, or.....
C. Some distance from the actual cache, or.....
D. All the Above!
******Coordinates for the actual cache location will need to
be extracted from the information presented
below.******
As steam locomotives made their journeys
between Monroe and White Pigeon, they stopped at the local sidings
of Wellsville, Sisson, Lenawee Junction, and Lenawee's final stop,
Bean Creek. LS &
MS routes
The Lakeshore & Southern Michigan Railway system crossed two
spans which have achieved notoriety due to their scarce application
in Michigan. Lenawee County has a pair of these structures within
it’s boundaries . Their age, size, and their overall condition make
these historic structures significant.

Your task is to locate the pictured bridge
and record the digits displayed upon it’s KEYSTONE. Reverse
those digits( read R. to L. ) and SUBTRACT them from each of
these coordinates: N 41 53 .102 W 84 22 .875 ( in the form X
.XXX) to get on the right track.
Log the find as directed and/or...select the "Alternate" cache at
the coordinates given within the derived
cache.
The cache is placed here to evoke some
recognition of a time gone by - where at one time, celery farms,
sheep ranches and graineries lined this pathway to points West.
While here try to picture the E. and W.
approach.
IF you are unsuccessful in locating the
cache…you may have been ‘Side-Tracked’ byThe Evil
"Twin".
