This is a great place for a hike/picnic on a calm day. Park at N46 32.726 W110 44.772. Head through the Grasshopper campground to the gate. Follow the trail to a very large clearing approx .91 miles. From there you can go as the crow flies if you're lungs and legs aren't too tired. If you would rather take a more gradual route, stay on the trail until the end of the clearing. There you will find a game trail (N46 32.069 W110 44.173)that cuts back towards the cache. Elevation gain is 561' over 1.1/1.35 miles. This is a small cache and you might want to bring a writing stick. Original contents include a log, pencil (but no sharpener), nail clippers, toothpick holder, (1)AA battery, a velcro strap, and a key light. You can also reach this cache from Richardson campground. Follow the trail until you reach a fork in the path leading back to Grasshopper. Take a right and follow the same coordinates. Good luck!
