Geocache Description:

A short hike through some beautiful woods here in Kennebunk.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The trailhead for Wonderbrook Park is at the right end of Plummer Lane off Route35/9A in Kennebunk (see parking coordinates below). The trail begins in a residential area, and park rules make this cache available

DAWN TO DUSK ONLY, Please!

In case you have read through all of the logs, I am updating these directions as of July 28th after checking the cache route to see where people were confused. Follow the marked trails into the woods and towards the left until you get to the first "bridge". Once you cross, you will want to bear Left up a slight incline, and THEN take the right on the marked trail. When you get to the cache area, you can put down your gpsr and just look for the obvious hiding spot. You are looking for a med sized camoed lock n lock container.

Please note: this is not a long hike, but it is an interesting one. You should know that there are two places where you will need to cross the ice/water. There are 2 safe wood "bridges" in place, but they are somewhat narrow. ( I have put 3 pictures on this cache page). There are alternative crossing spots, but be prepared to possibly get your feet wet. I have never been here at a time other than winter, so we will have to see what the warmer weather brings!

HAVE FUN!

PLEASE ALSO NOTE: I spotted LOTS of kid's toys on the street. PLEASE USE CAUTION AND DRIVE SLOWLY! Thanks!
