A multi in the Long Sault Conservation Area. For this cache you should use your gps to take a compass bearing, or bring a compass. Prepare with change for the new "Pay and Display" parking lot at the trailheads. It is a looney or tooney to get in here.
At the given cache coordinates, and again at Waypoint One you will need to take a bearing, or just walk a few meters in the particular direction, to find the micros. Each micro is hidden somewhere along the given compass bearing but within a maximum of 15m from the main trail, and each micro contains one of the two essential coordinates for the final cache.
The final cache is an ammo box containing log and some goodies.
At the given main coordinate, micro 1, use: Bearing 168 degrees magnetic
At Waypoint One, Micro 2, use: Bearing 210 degrees magnetic.
This cache was set up in mid-March, trekking on snow. For most of the rest of the year the vegetation will rule here, including Poison Ivy, so please watch your step and minimize the off-trail damage. If there is much snow, don't go! It would be tough to find then.
Expect some mosquitoes in season, and a round trip of about 1 1/2 km.
