A quick cache-n-dash ammo box just off the freeway.
I won this cache in a raffle at a COSGEO event cache last month. It had been rescued from the I-25 Southbound Rest Area. CDOT has just finished remodeling the Rest Area and the woodsy area where the cache used to be is now off-limits. So, after cleaning and restocking it, I placed the cache at a freeway exit just north of the Rest Area. You can easily get to this cache from either northbound or southbound I-25.
There is parking at pullouts along the road. Do not cross the fence onto private property. Some friendly horses across the road may wander over to see what you're doing, but don't worry, they're not muggles!
