Geocache Description:

Eilean Aoidhe, connected to the mainland by a tiny isthmus

Eilean Aoidhe is a fantastic place with views to the West over The Mull of Kintyre and to the South over Arran.

The Boys Brigade hut on the mainland would be a superb location to have a house with a sheltered bay to bring your boat.

The published coordinates will take you to stage 1 where you will find a plastic lock-lock box with an aluminium plate with the coordinates for stage 2 stamped into it, please do not remove the aluminium plate from the container. At stage 2 again you will find a plastic lock-lock box with the final coordinates stamped into an aluminium plate, again do not remove this from the box. Also there is no log to sign at stage 1 & stage 2 only the final location..

If you follow the route as mentioned above and park your car at the entrance to the private farm road you have two options when you reach In Hindsight. Firstly, you can head cross country for 10 minutes or so to Columba’s Chapel and pick up the track there. Secondly, You can head down past Pollphail village and pick up the main road back to the car approximately 20 minutes.
