Lovely area, cannot believe we are the first to cache it - with our very first cache (also the first of six in this area).

We've been coming here for years, so finally time to give something back!
Walking to the cache from Froghall Wharf you will walk along one of the old tramways cut through the valley side (used to carry Limestone to the kilns by the car park). See 'Gravity Plateway - GC12VZZ' for further information. You might also want to visit Harston Wood Nature Reserve whilst in the area (Staffordshire Wildlife Trust).
Facilities at Froghall Wharf include toilets, visitor centre and a small window-cafe.
This cache is named after our very first TB who started his travels here. His name is Bananas (TB18Q5Q). Hopefully he'll find his way back here one day.
This cache is one of a series of local caches:-
Froghall Wharf - GC1266W
Hotel Woodlouse - GC12VZH
Halfway there - GC15VP3
Gravity Plateway - GC12VZZ
Bananas Bridge - GC11MTB
and the multi-cache which binds them together:-
TJ's Treasure Tub - GC12VWR
