kazuma: Siamo andati a vedere il cache e come già ci aveva accennato atnessi, il cache non si trovava più dove originariamente era stato nascosto. Evidentemente qualche 'vorrei essere un geocacher' lo ha preso senza ricordarsi dove e così ha deciso di metterlo ben lontano dalla sua reale posizione. Peccato che ci siano ancora geocachers che non hanno ben capito una cosa molto semplice: rimettere il cache a posto dove e come lo si è trovato.
Per questo e per alcune lamentele sulla sua vicinanza con la strada, abbiamo così deciso di archiviarlo.

Grazie a tutti coloro che lo hanno visitato.

We went to check the cache and as we have been warned by atnessi, the cache wasnn't hidden in its original position. Probably some wanna-be-a-geocacher took it but he/she didn't remember where and he/she placed it far from its original position. Pity that there are still geocachers that didn't understand a very simple rule: put the cache where and how it originally was.
For this reason and due to some complain we got about the vicinity with the road, we decided to archive it.

Uno splendido parco "paradisiaco" sulle rive del lago di Lugano dove si mischiano natura e curiosità.

A wonderful "heavenly" park located on the shores of the Lugano Lake where nature and curiosity get mixed together.

Il modo migliore per presentare questo cache è un veloce riassunto estratto liberamente dal sito internet Lugano Turismo: "Nel 1930 Hermann Arthur Scherrer acquistò la casa e un ettaro di terreno a monte. Dopo diversi anni di lavoro il terreno fu trasformato e ricoperto da piante esotiche ed orientali che Scherrer aveva ammirato durante i suoi viaggi di lavoro. Scherrer, però, cercò anche di riprodurre, anno dopo anno, diversi templi, in scala ridotta del mondo mediterraneo e di paesi esotici. Il parco comprende due aree, con due stili predominanti; quello mediterraneo e quello asiatico. Il percorso attraversa dapprima i ripiani dei giardini mediterranei in stile rinascimentale e barocco, ricchi di statue; poi prosegue in boschetti di bambù nel paesaggio orientale, che sorprende per le sue costruzioni siamesi, arabe ed indiane, accompagnate dalla flora che caratterizza queste regioni. Lungo il percorso c’è la possibilità di sedersi all’ombra di pergole, e di godersi splendidi scorci panoramici sul lago." Vi consigliamo VIVAMENTE di organizzare la ricerca del cache in modo da abbinarla alla visita al Parco. Gli orari ed i periodi di apertura sono indicati sul sito dal quale è stato liberamente tratto il testo: Lugano Tourism: Il Parco Scherrer. Il micro cache è stato nascosto molto vicino all'ingresso del parco, davanti ad uno dei possibili parcheggi per accedervi e sotto l'ingresso di un ristorante dove abbiamo trascorso un paio di ore piacevolissime con un ottimo menu locale. All'interno del cache si trova il logbook (ma non c'è la penna, ricordatevela) un "Florida coin" per videogiochi, una salviettina e un ciondolo da cellulare. Attenzione! Il cache è molto vicino alla strada e non c'è marciapiede, quindi state molto attenti!!! Il premio per il FTF è "[CnK] GhiGhi'", ossia un "First Italian Baby" geocoin (Argento Antico). After several years of hard work the land was transformed and covered by exotic and oriental plants that Scherrer had admired during his travels abroad. Scherrer, year after year, he dedicated himself to reproducing several temples (on a reduced scale) of the Mediterranean world and of exotic countries. The park includes two areas with two predominant styles: the Mediterranean and the Asiatic styles. The path first winds its way through Mediterranean style gardens in renaissance and baroque style, richly decorated in statues; then it proceeds through an oriental landscape of bamboo woods, which is surprising for the Siamese, Arab and Indian buildings that pop up here and there and the flora typical of those regions. Along the way, it’s possible to sit in the shade of arbours and enjoy the splendid view of the lake." We STRONGLY suggest to organize the hunt for the cache together with a visit of the Park. The opening period and hours are indicated in the website from which we have freely taken the text above: Lugano Tourism: The Scherrer Park. The micro cache has been hidden very close to the entrance of the park. It is in front one of the parking areas for the park and under the entrance of a restaurant where we spend a couple of pleasant hours with a great local menu. Inside the cache you will find the logbook (but there is no pen/pencil, so please remember it) a "Florida coin" for videogames, a towelette and a cellular pendant. Attention! The cache is very close to the road and there is no curb. Please pay extra attention!!! The prize for the FTF is the "[CnK] GhiGhi'", that is a "First Italian Baby" geocoin (Antique Silver).
