Pig in a Blanket Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-Rusty-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located within 50 feet of a trail that is part of the Pine Baron Pathway. The blue-marked Pathway ranges from flat to gently rolling and winds through second-growth pine and aspen. There are many large old stumps that are remnants of the area's long-ago logging days as well as fires in the early 20th century. The Michigan DNR grooms the trails in winter for classic cross-country skiing. Dogs are not permitted on the groomed trails, but are welcome the rest of the year.

The cache container is a camo-taped pill bottle, with just enough room for a log, small pen and the FTF prize, which is an unactivated TB. Once the TB is claimed, there may be room for tiny trade items. Why is it called "Pig in a Blanket?" You'll probably figure it out if you enjoy tiny hot dogs wrapped in dough!

My EPE on date of placement was 25 feet.
