This series of multi-caches will take you on a 3-4 mile stroll around some footpaths to the north of the town of Dereham in Norfolk. The town is easily accessible by road or public transport. There is sufficient off-road parking space near the location of the first waypoint for cars.
There are many hostelries and eating places in the town that can cater for all your before and after rambling needs.
The trail you will follow is completely on public footpaths, crossing a few busy roads on the way. An Ordnance Survey Map of the area will be extremely useful to you. If the weather is wet, there will be muddy bits and plenty of puddles so wear boots in or after inclement weather.
Thanks for to the SSSSKENTIES for "stroller" testing the route (pushchair in proper English) - it's been quite a while since we've needed to go caching with one!
The final cache contains a bag of swaps for children, a bag of swaps for the bigger children, a logbook and writing implements.
…now off on your ramble, your first mini-cache is at N 52 41.693 E 00 56.081. There you will find the co-ordinates for the next…. And so on...
Enjoy.
NOTE: We always enjoy reading about the exploits of our finders so, if you have the time and inclination, we always appreciate it when you can log a few words about your hunt. Thank you.
