Cache container is a screw cap type. It contains only a log
sheet. Bring a pen/pencil. Please replace as found being careful to
attach with wire. It may not appear to need the wire, however, in
wind and certain conditions it may fall out of place. The insurance
of that not happening, is the wire.
I called this area Chipmunk Crossing because every time Ghostman
and I walk up the trail at this spot during summer, we hear and
most often see Chipmunks caching around and about.
This is a popular resting area for long distance hikers, bikers
and horseback riders. One time we met a lady on a horse travelling
from Ottawa through the Maritimes, going as far as she could. She
was impressed with the friendly hospitality of New Brunswick saying
that every night, she was offered a place to stay with her horse.
She was heading for the Fredericton Raceway where the farmer at the
place she stayed the night before offered to make arrangements for
her horse. One of Fredericton's Bed and Breakfast places invited
her to come and stay the night, meals included.
Enjoy the hunt!
