I have been looking at the ammo cans that
have been accumulating in the garage just waiting to be
hidden. It's now
officially spring, though the cache was placed on a rather gray
day, with temperatures only a bit above freezing, so the trails
were muddy in places, and still icy in others.
The cache is located only a few metres from
the trail. There are
no really steep climbs or descents required, the trails are pretty
friendly. The cache container is pretty tucked into its
hiding spot, and may be a little difficult to remove, but I have
seen worse. Please take care to re-hide the container
well. I have rated the cache a 3.5 difficulty due to the
hiding spot, but the terrain should not be much of a problem.
Despite what
your mapping software may tell you, this cache is located
NORTH of the Little Rouge Creek. If you park at the recommended
coordinates, you will NOT want to cross the bridge before
hitting the trail.
Cache
started with some decent swag, and a couple of geocoins and a
travel bug.
