Lepus Californicus, otherwise know as the Jackrabbit, is a common animal found in open space areas.
While placing this cache I happened upon four of these speedy and shifty characters.
The Jackrabbit is known for its camouflage colorings that allow it to blend into a variety of different settings.
Don't forget the key, for a good cache hunt is to follow your instincts.
