Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the Palm Terrace Walk Trail but should be easily accessible for those who do not want to Take 30. You should find it to the south-east of the house ruins and amongst the undergrowth. Nothing too hard I would think.

Andrew (Aushiker) placed a great cache which was enjoyed by a couple of dozen cachers for over 22 months. I was happy to adopt the cache rather than see it archived. Thanks for a great cache Andrew.

Update 6 Oct 09
After a couple of DNFs WanderingAus wandered by with a new container, log book, pen, pencil, sharpener, and a few swaps, all set to replace this cache, but it turned out to be only four metres from GZ, still intact, in excellent condition.

I've updated the coordinates to where I found it at S 31° 59.518 E 116° 02.065, averaged for 20 minutes and multiple cross-bearings, but I still think Aushiker's coordinates were good enough given the tree cover.
** Coordinates Changed From ** S 31° 59.520 E 116° 02.065, Distance From Old: 12 feet

The cache is located at the conjunction of the modern and the old. The cache itself is a 2 litre plastic container wrapped up in a black plastic bag. It contains the normal array of swaps, a logbook, a pencil etc.

The walk trail that passes close by is the Palm Terrace Walk Trail. If you have an hour and half spare you are strongly encouraged to take on this trail. It is a nice walk with great views over the coastal plain which provides an opportunity to Take 30 and get some exercise.

If you wish to make any comments please post a log or email me. Please log your find in the cache and on Geocaching.com. Please no hints or multiple logs, but please do leave a photo or two. Phone a friend is allowed, but hopefully not required.
