This cache would be an easy bike or scooter ride from Champaign or Urbana. Road are well maintaned and the ground is level and easy to navigate. Nothing too strenous here.
I watched a pair of red foxes at this location for a number of years. She was hit by a car, and I have not seen him since. They used to "cross" the road just west of this cache, unseen by anyone on the roadway. Sly, like a fox, I guess.
Keep your eye open for red-wing and tri-color blackbirds. I see them often on the edge of the road.
I'll start the treasure with a red marble, bike reflector, and a bottle opener keychain, all new of course.
