Welcome to Neverland!
Peter Pan and the Lost Boys need your help. Captain Hook has captured them aboard his ship the Jolly Roger. Hook is looking for the treasure that Peter has hidden in the forest.
To help Peter, you must find the treasure and then let him know that it is still safe from Hook and his Pirates. A Never Land fairy knows where Peter is keeping the treasure, so you must find her first. Once you find her, she will then lead you to Peter Pan's Never Land Treasure!
The cache:This is a two-stage cache located in Sandra Richardson Park in York Township. Both stages are located about 30 feet off of the hiking trail. The first stage consists of a small (fairy sized) cache. This is where you will find the fairy. She will then provide you with the coordinates to Peter Pan's Never Land Treasure (regular sized cache).
The park: In 1985, York Township acquired from the State of Michigan, 118 acres of land that was part of the old State Hospital grounds with the idea of development into park land. Today, Sandra Richardson is a park with lots to offer from over 3 miles of trails through woods and meadows. Park hours are from Dawn to dusk. Park Map (pdf)
