CITO CITO CITO CITO CITO. Sunday, April 15th 2007 at 12:30
pm.
Mark your calendar and clear your schedule it's once again time to
give back to the parks department that has supported geocaching in
the City of Tulsa. Cachers, if there is one event you don't want to
miss this year it's this one. No need to bring your own dumpster,
we'll have our own on hand!
Just remember
1. You will get dirty
2. You will smell things not meant for man nor beast
3. And you will absolutely have a blast doing it, I guarantee
RSVP your plans and watch this cache page for any updates.
The plan is to clean up around several locations at Mohawk Park. We
plan to meet for the meal of your choosing (breakfast/lunch) at the
Dennys at Sheridan and I244 (coordinates 36.09.734 / 095.54.263)
between 9 and 930 am. After breakfast we plan to head over to the
park for the clean up. Whether or not you meet us to eat you are
welcome at the park for the clean up. We will meet in the Oxley
Nature Center parking lot at the above coords. The clean up will
last around 2-3 hours, you can come late or leave early at your
convenience...even just 30 minutes of your time can make a big
difference.
Items to bring! At least one pair of gloves for each person in your
group. Sunblock and bug spray is also suggested. Hopefully we will
have really nice weather like the last few years. If anyone has
rubber boots it helps for cleaning up around wet areas. For the
more adventurous CITOers canoes will be availble for cleaning those
hard to reach areas of the lakes.
Beginning April 1st there is a $2.00 fee enter Mohawk Park.
