Trullhals gravfält ligger ödsligt, långt ifrån bebyggelse mitt inne i en skog. Det är något mycket trolskt och mystiskt över denna plats, ett av Sveriges bäst bevarade gravfält från den s.k Vendeltiden, perioden från ca 600 – 700 e.Kr. Vendeltiden är förstadiet till vikingatiden.
Omkring 340 gravar finns synliga ovan jord, merparten är gravrösen av sten.
Ett antal domarringar, dvs glest placerade stenar i cirklar finns på gravfältet. Dessa domarringar är sällsynta på Gotland. Även andra resta stenar finns, bl.a en rak rad av större stenar som folktron menade var en rest efter ett trolls hals, därav gravfältets namn Trullhals.

Trullhals burial-ground is located very desolated, far away from colonization in the middle of a forest. There is something very bewitching and mysterious about this place, one of Swedens best preserved burial-ground from “Vendeltiden” the period about 600 –700 A.C. “ Vendeltiden “ is the time just before the Viking time.
There are about 340 graves that are visible and mostly build of stones. A numerous “domarringar” i.e sparsely placed stones in circles are located in this burial-ground. Theese “domarringar” are very rare on Gotland. There are other stones, among others a row of big stones that local people meant was a rest after a goblin.
