Geocache Description:

This cache location can be accessed from taking a scenic drive along the shores of Lake Huron between Port Elgin and Southampton. From the Miramichi Bay Road turn into the Miramichi Shores subdivision. Park at the corner of Collard Way and Carter Drive to access the trail head at N44 27.898 W 081 23.095. Do not try to drive closer to the cache then this trail access or you will have to cross private property.

This trail runs from Concession 10 outside Port Elgin to South Street in Southampton.

The cache can be found just a few feet off the trail that runs behind this subdivision.

When I placed this cache in the early spring, the birds we chirping and several bluejays where flying about. Soon there will be trilliums spotted from here as well! This trail is also used in the winter by the cross country skiers and for snow shoeing.

Enjoy the area and continue walking the rest of the trail, but remember to respect the private lands.
