The (uncared for) Sundial Traditional Cache
Gushoneybun: For a few years this spot has not been as nice as it used to be. The sundial has turned into a hedge, the parking area is in constant use by the nearby houses and now the trees have gone. Ten years is not a bad run for a cache so I have decided to archive this one. Thanks to all who found it.

An interesting little spot, that most people simply drive past; not even knowing its here.
To get the full benefit of the sundial it's best to come on a sunny day! This is a quick cache and dash with parking adjacent to the cache. Please keep your children close by due to the busy road.
Located next to the A520 Leek to Meir Road on the edge of Wetley Rocks. When approaching from Leek pass the Wetley Rocks sign and 30mph signs, turn left immediately after the speed camera. From the opposite direction pass the Total Garage and turn right before the camera.
Due to several DNF's I have increased the difficulty rating slightly for this cache. If you can not find it, please post a DNF log and contact me for a close up photo of the cache hiding place.
Please note the cache is NOT in the wall, so please leave it alone.
As a note it seems that cars are being parked here for nearby houses/the pub. If there is a car in the carpark it is probably not occupied so you should be find to stop and search.
Sadly it seems due to cost control the once lovely planted sundial is now just a mass of bushes, so I have tweaked the description.
