Park your car at the end of Hatton street, Karori, in the Johnston's Hill carpark. The coordinates of the car park are: S41 16.722' E174 44.519'
Take the Penlington Track to the Johnston's Hill lookout and Skyline walkway. GPS coverage will be patchy for the first 15 mins, but clear after that, so follow the track until you reach the geodetic marker. From there the GPS is your best option. Please note you do NOT need to bush-bash or climb through the gorse.
The container is a Paddington Bear Lolly Jar.
