Geocache Description:


This cache is located near the top of the local mountain. It's the highest point for miles around and the view from the top is magnificent. The terrain rating is a 2.5 because you must climb to the top to find the cache.

During the last Ice Age this area was much colder and it's likely that the mountain top was covered with ice and snow for much of the year. A local developer hoped that this climate would return and built a ski chalet at the top; the remains of this structure is still there waiting for global warming to end.

This 35mm cache is located near the top of the mountain(?) and contains a log only so BYOP! Please replace the cache as you found it so that it isn't accidently found by muggles.
