This series of caches will take you on a
journey starting at The Claypool Bridge in Middle Musquodoboit and
ending on the Moose River Road at the turnoff to Markland, the site
of the 19th century Icelandic settlement. They are a mixture of
micro's (some quite small) and small traditional caches. Some are
located on or near highway bridges.
WARNING!!!!
- Park
safely while visiting these caches as these roads
are used by large trucks that travel very fast.
- All the caches located on or near bridges
are easily accessible from standing on the bridges or on level
ground. You will not have to climb under or over bridges or descend
down steep banks. If you find yourself hanging upside down from a
girder then you are in the wrong area.
Most of the cache containers have been
camouflaged to keep muggles out but any geocachers worth their salt
will have no problem in spotting them.
Bring writing instruments as some of
the micro's are too small for a pencil!!!
We are planning to hide more caches in this
series in the near future.
The Remains of a Giant is a very small
micro but large enough for a wee pencil. This old fellow must have
been quite the sight in his heyday.
Happy Caching!
