A nice easy-ish drive by with rewarding views.
This cache replaces "Dam Fine View" which had become a fly tippers paradise. The views from here are actually better than at DFV. Pause a moment at the trig point & look behind you. The area immediately infront of you, where you parked your car was the site of Barrow Colliery & its associated coking works. For years this was a blight on the area, chucking out goodness knows what into the atmosphere. The fenced field to your right has recently been open cast, though you would never know.
