What: 2007 MnGCA Spring Event (Ramsey Rally 2007)
Where: Alexander Ramsey Park, Redwood Falls
When: June 9th, 2007 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with optional
overnight camping
THE PARK: Alexander Ramsey Park is the largest
municipal park in Minnesota. The park spans 217 acres with vast
features that have something for everyone!
The park was built as a state park in 1911 with much of the work
being done by the CCC during the 1930's. The state of Minnesota
gave the park back to the city of Redwood Falls in later years and
now the city maintains and improves the park. Ramsey Park continues
to be a wonderful example of Minnesota's commitment to its natural
resources and beauty.

CAMPGROUND: The campground and facilities within
the park are within walking distance to all of the parks
attractions as well as the 9-hole municipal golf course. With
modern shower facilities and water access, the campground caters to
everyone from the most modern to the more rustic camper. Nestled in
the river valley and close to the river, it is an exceptional place
for a full week or just weekend getaway. There are 31 campsites
available on a first come-first served basis-they do not take
camping reservations!
Beer is allowed in the campground.
