Geocache Description:

Canterbury sits in a valley and there are lovely views of the cathedral from the surrounding hills, this series of caches are placed where some of the best views can be found.

I have added this cache to the series as there is an excellent cathedral view as you return from finding the cache

The oldest church in continual use in England and birthplace of modern English christianity. This cache uses dates in the graveyard to lead you on a multicache trail, enjoy cathedral views most of the way.

The co-ordinates lead you to the top of the graveyard of the oldest parish church in continual use in England, part of the Canterbury world heritage site. From here use the co-ordinates and clues to find dates on gravestones and notices (all quite prominent and clear). This will give you the co-ordinates to a microcache at a near-by little known piece of Canterbury history. Inside this microcache is a slip of paper with the co-ordinates and clue to the final geocache. The final location is obvious and can be reached from the footpath. the landowner has given permission for this cache. Please be considerate of the neighbours and if in doubt use the clue.
