Ieaux Dude! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Antheia: Hi Iwuzere
This cache has been disabled for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Regards

Yvonne

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A nice simple cache (no puzzles!) along my favourite south coast cliffs. Excellent views along the way if approached from the east (some steps to be climbed), otherwise from the west it's mostly inland but more flat.

The cache is an APS film canister (wrapped in duct tape) as I got fed up replacing the previous medium/small clip-close plastic boxes after losing too many. This makes it slightly less of a child-friendly cache without trinkets to swap (most should still enjoy the place and the view), but hopefully this will reduce the small chance that they might return years later as teenagers to trash the site :)

Please bring a pen to sign the folded sheet of A4, and replace by covering with small stones, not large ones - as people seem to like moving the larger ones for BBQ purposes.

You will not need to leave the paths until the last few feet, so there's no excuse for falling down sudden drops! If you're not in a clearing surrounded by rock, keep to the path. You don't need to battle with gorse.

No clues needed, just go find it!!

According to a French-speaking friend of mine, the unusual word "Ieaux" (which sounds a bit like Yo! to my British ears) probably means bones or ribs, possibly referring to the rocks on this coast.

BONUS!
On the cache log sheet you will find the coords for a bonus cache : (visit link) (scrambled in the elbissop tseisae way!).
Anyone who has found this cache in the past is welcome to ask for the coords.
