Elaine's Favorite Spot Traditional Cache
mosaicmama: This one has run its course after 11 years. 79 people found it, 6 DNFs. It used to be a great spot and now with the death of so many hemlocks, GZ is full of fallen trees. No one visited in 2018. Perhaps a new cache nearby in the future?

This is a beautiful spot in the state game lands on the Darlington Trail.
This cache is dedicated to my best friend Elaine who was killed in December 2006. She loved this spot. Take a lunch or dinner because there are three chairs and a table here, (no joke). While relaxing think of your best friend and appreciate her/him.
The container is a large plastic coffee can. After hiking this far I thought you deserved to find it without too much searching. The terrain rating is based on the length of the hike only.
You will be hiking on the Darlington Trail in the State Game Lands so please wear orange during hunting seasons. The only safe day to hike during deer season is on Sunday.
Attention: spring turkey season is the month of May,except Sundays. The hunters can shoot until noon each day and must be out of the woods by 1PM.
The cache is accessed by Lambs Gap Road or by Tower Road.
