This is our first placed geocache,
and it's geared toward families with new geocachers. It's almost a
drive-up and grab (you'll have to get out of your car, and there is
"quasi" parking near the cache. Use flashers to be safe.) Do
be careful of any stray briars or poison ivy ... this area
may have more in season (hence the attributes given ... they
are not too bad. Just be careful!)
You do not have to enter private property to find the cache. The
title is a "dead" giveaway. For now, it is hidden in a fairly
obvious spot so that young cachers can find it. Please return it to
it's hiding spot. If we find that it's going to be easily muggled,
we will revisit and may make it a little harder to find.
We are starting our 4x4 lock and lock cache off with goodies for
all ages, including some coins (non-geo) from Europe and South
Africa. As this is our first cache to hide, feedback is welcome.
Happy Geocaching!
NOTE: Please be careful when removing the cache ... it is
resting in a place that could be a temporary home for local
critters. Just use the same caution that you would when looking
under or in something ... never stick your hand in something
without looking first!
CONGRATULATIONS to
Tweedledum and Tweedledee on a FTF night raid!
