Geocache Description:

2nd in a series of geometry-based puzzles. This goes along with Quake (GC120DD). Puzzles can be done independent of one another.
Idea inspired by Natureboy44's creative Orient Express (GCKX0R)
Cache is NOT located at the published coordinates

The published coordinates are for the Patriot's Path parking area just off of Route 24. Kid friendly adventure.

Bulletin:

The National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC) has issued an urgent bulletin.

Four TREMOR (Tactical Response and Emergency Mobility Operations Resource) teams have been dispatched to rescue a stranded quake team (reference GC120DD).

The stranded team is located somewhere within the general area of the epicenter (see map).  Since communications have been severely compromised, the only way to contact the team is to direct them via radio-waves to a specific point where they can then be instructed on rescue operations.

Scope of Rescue

Each TREMOR team is provided with a 2-way radio pre-programmed with one of 2 frequencies.

Teams will be sent to the locations indicated in the grid below.

Since the affected area has extremely limited communications capabilities, each team can only communicate with the team directly across from them on their pre-programmed narrow-band frequency. See Chart 1.

v     Blue Team: Team GerIRL and Team AVGraphics has been set-up to communicate on Channel 10, frequency 467.6125 MHz.

v     Red Team: Team Resolution and Team Old Navy are paired on Channel 21, frequency 462.700 MHz

Stranded team’s electronics (cell phone, 2-way radio and GPSr) have all malfunctioned due to isolated shock-wave interference.  Interestingly, their 2-way radio is stuck on GUARD emergency frequency that can receive both  467.6125 MHz and 462.700 MHz.  This team can only receive instruction from the other teams when it’s 2-way radio is located precisely at the intersection of the 2 inbound frequencies.  They realize what they have to do and start to move depending on the strength of the incoming signals.   The strongest signal, they know, will come from the exact point of intersection.  There, they’ll get the rescue extraction information.

Your task as team lead is it to determine this point of intersection.  All the information you need is below:

Congrats to Team Resolution on their FTF. Well done Margie and Greg!
