It is recommended that you park somewhere off the A647, and take
the public footpath starting at the Trailhead additional waypoint
listed below.
You may find your in-car Sat Nav tries to take you down unnamed
paved track to get you closer to the cache. This isn't recommended,
as....
- You'll miss most of the view on the way to the cache.
- It's not a public highway, it's used by the water board as an
access road.
- The track is narrow, and if you meet another car coming the
other way, you're stuffed.
Important Note:
There are Dry Stone Walls in this area, the cache is hidden near a
few that are still standing.
There is no need to look in or dismantle any of the walls.
The feature the cache is hidden under might have been used as part
of a wall many moons ago, but is now a standalone feature. Please
see the Spoiler Picture.
