Geocache Description:

Terrain is flat. There is a parking area at the park for the first part. For the second part park in the drive by the bridge. This is a SQ so no night caching.

The listed coords takes you to the little park in the town of Charloe. Charloe is known for its........well, I am not sure if it known for anything!

This town used to be an indian reservation before the indians were driven west by 1831.Charloe used to be a larger town in the mid/late 1800's with the canal passing nearby. It was home to the county courthouse in 1841 at the cost of $10,000.

The population of Charloe once was 400-500 people in it's prime. Charloe started meeting it's demise around 1851 when the county seat was being moved to Paulding. Today all that is left is a couple dozen houses and 3 businesses.

On with the cache: The coords takes you to a monument in the corner of the park. Here you need to record the only date on it. Use the first 2 digits as (A) and the last 2 digits as (B).

From here you need to go to the following coords: N41' 07.(766-A) W084' 26.(024-B)

You are looking for a medium sized lock and lock painted camo.It has some trade items, log and pencils and a FTF prize in it.

The "SQ" in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project by the Northwest Ohio Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of that series created by NWOGEO members to highlight cemeteries or memorial gardens in the area. Please be respectful of the area, and observe their rules and posted hours which are typically sunrise to sunset. For more information, please visit: www.NWOGEO.org/SpiritQuest/
