Located along the Monongahela River in the southwestern portion of the county-German Masontown Park is the largest of the county-owned parks consisting of 125 1/2 acres and part of both German Township and Masontown Borough.
You can bring along a picnic and enjoy the park. There are pavilions with charcoal grills. This park also offers baseball fields, a playground, tennis courts, a soccerfield, bocce court, horse shoe pits, an outdoor amphitheatre, and a walking trail. Park closes at sunset.
After finding the cache, you can continue left on the trail and make a loop back. Just be careful there isn't any paintball action. It looks like they have small shelters and hideouts built--around N 39°51.306 W 79°53.817
This cache is placed in coordination with my first event--CITO IN THE CONG.
Ammo can stocked with a little for everyone. There is a FTF prize and because we usually don't go without our dog, Acadia, there is also a prize for the "FTF dog".
