Located in Schenley Park, near the University of Pittsburgh. Easy parking near Phipps Conservatory, go down the stairs behind the Schenley Visitor Center for access to the trails. The trails are fairly level, but the actual cache will require leaving the trail and some climbing. This won't be easy! Once you get to the coordinates, have a seat and plan your method of approach! Be careful, avoid sliding, and always remember to be safe! Also, try not to drop anything while signing the log.
The cache is a tupperware container, with no cammo at all. It currently contains a logbook, several trade items and some pencils, but you may want to bring your own pen just in case!
This cache has recently been downgraded, and will currently not be transporting items to far away places. It will remain a traditional geocache in Schenley Park with special characteristics.
Schenley Park has several caches, this was placed in an effort to increase the options for people hiking along the lower trails. Enjoy this more difficult one! Please approach this one from the lower trails, so as to avoid dislodging important growth on the hills that keep them from eroding. (Ladies and Gentlemen) The Bridge and the Groom (GCG38T) is a great starting point!
There are two hints, the first one is still pretty tricky. The second one should be a big help!
