Per trovare le coordinate della cache finale occorre fare visita
al parco preistorico a Peccioli. In questo simpatico giardino si
trovano modelli di animali preistorici a grandezza naturale ideati
e creati dai fratelli Ghironi, i proprietari del parco.
L'ingresso al parco costa 4 euro a persona. Il parco è aperto
tutti i giorni dell'anno, dalle 9 di mattina sino al tramonto. Di
fianco al parco è disponibile un'area attrezzata dove è consentito
il pernottamento in camper (gratuito). Le coordinate sopra citate
fanno riferimento al parcheggio del parco. La cache finale è stata
nascosta al di fuori del terreno del parco, ma sempre nelle sue
vicinanze.
La vostra sfida
La cache finale si trova alle coordinate N 43 33,ABC - E 10
43,DEF.
Per trovare i numeri corrispondenti con le lettere A-F occorre
prendere le coordinate di 13 esposizoni presenti nel parco. Trova
le varie esposizioni e prendi le coordinate direttamente davanti al
cartello dell'animale in questione (rimanendo naturalmente sempre
al di fuori dai recinti).
Per trovare il valore di A-F devi prendere il primo decimale dei
minuti NORD o EST, ad esempio:
Coordinate nord di animale 1:
N 43° 33,234, allora N(Animale 1) diventa 2
Coordinate est di animale 2:
E 10° 43,567, allora E(Animale 2) diventa 5

To find the coordinates of the final cache you need to visit the
prehistoric park located in Peccioli. In these gardens you will
find an exposition of live size models of prehistoric animals,
designed and created by the Ghironi brothers, the owners of the
park.
The
entrance fee for the park is 4 euros per person. The park is open
all year round, from 9am till sundown. Next to the park you will
find a service area, where RV's can stay overnight for free. The
starting coordinates listed refer tot the parking area of the park.
The final cache is hidden outside of the park area, but still close
by.
Your challenge
The final cache is located at N 43 33,ABC - E 10 43,DEF.
To find the number corresponding tot the letters A-F you need to
take the coordinates of 13 of the objects exhibited in the park.
Find these objects and register the coordinates directly in front
of the sign stating the name of the animal in question (of course
you should never cross the fences and bars around the
expositions).
To find the values of A-F you need to take note of the first
decimal of the NORTH or EAST minutes, e.g.:
North coordinate of animal 1:
N 43° 33,234, then N(Animal 1) yields 2
East coordinates of animal 2:
E 10° 43,567, then E(Animal 2) yields 5

La descrizione della cache è stata aggiustata il 26 maggio 2007, in
modo che ora i calcoli sono basati sui primi decimali anziché i
secondi, per ridurre il rischio di errori di precisione.
