Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Lynch Park in Beverly, MA. The cache is a small Tupperware container. There are paved paths all the way to the cache.

Beverly has a fair number of parks and playgrounds. Many of which are on the water. This is the first in a series of caches that we will be placing in the Beverly parks.

Lynch Park is a 16 acre oceanfront park. It has a couple of small beaches, a bandshell where they perform concerts and show movies during the summer, a playground, kayak rental, and a concession area. There is also a Rose Garden within the park which can be rented for weddings and events. This is where my wife and I were married.

The cache is hidden within the Rose Garden. Due to its rental, there may be times where you need to wait until you can retrieve the cache. The park generally has a fair number of people around in the summer. The Rose Garden tends to be the low traffic area. You will still need to be careful when retrieving it as there may be several people wandering about.

During the summer months, there is a non-resident parking charge for the lot. There are plenty of nearby streets where you can park for free. This is the only thing that I find annoying about the park. Nice for us residents. Bad for visitors.
