Traditional Cache on Mountain
This cache is located on Mack Mt. Frankfort, Me. An interesting area with a storied past and working present in granite quarrying. Parking coordinates I used: 44,34.483 n and 068,52.971w. This is the beginning of an ATV trail heading west. It is best to park here and reduce travel on the trail. At approximately 0.4 miles on this atv trail an old jeep trail: coordinates 44,34.415 n and 068, 53.460 w will be on your left leading a round about way to the cache. A traditional ammo can, hidden nearly at the top, will test your caching skills. This cache may be difficult to find with deep snow, however, once you find it,you will see why I choose the hiding place. Some nice views present to the south and east. Good luck... Groleau
