How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed to commemorate the 2nd Annual Combat Cachers’ Reunion and to honor the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who have served this country in a time of war.

Supporting the war effort doesn't always mean a person was "down range". Many people, who have not deployed, are doing their part. The civilians who are taking the place of deployed soldiers are just some of the unsung heroes. There are MANY others!

When you log this cache on-line, please include a short blurb describing yourself, or someone you know who is helping in the war against terror. If you’re comfortable, please list their name and branch of service. Please don't list their place of deployment for OPSEC reasons (Operational Security), unless their service is in the past. Current operational deployments should not be listed, or if listed, just give the most basic of information.

NOTE: Don't go rushing out for a FTF on this one. It was placed as part of the 2nd annual combat cacher's reunion, and was released early for the participants.
