Geocache Description:

Note: Cache is NOT at the coordinates listed above... The listed coords will only take you to the local GM dealer, which closely relates to the theme of this Cache ~~ The theme is about one of the best cars ever built.

This Cache was all set up to go in Salem, and was to end at a business that went along with the theme, but it ended up too close to another active cache. Anyway, you will have to do some research, and solve the puzzle below. After you have solved the puzzle, the Cache will be a fairly easy find. So, I realized that I had yet to put out a Puzzle Cache, so I thought it was about time to do just that. I wanted to make it relate to something that I was interested in, and since I'm the proud owner (sometimes) of two of these great cars, I thought this would work perfect. I'm not going to give away any clues to where to get your answers, but all the info is available on the internet, and if you happen to be a Corvette Enthusiast it just may be extra easy for you...
There is a PEN and a LOG SHEET, and this Cache has many trade items. There is also a $5 Bill for the FIRST TO FIND (Hmmmmm, Now that I think about it, there may be two $5 Bills)... There are loads of Trackables (Including a "Digital Fish")~ Grab several, and keep them moving!!! I was really needing to get some of these back in circulation for their owners...
After you solve the puzzle below ~ The following will be the Final Coords.

N 45° A.BCD W 123° E.FGH

On Tuesday, June 30, 1953 Corvette #1 Serial Number E53F001001 rolled of the assembly line, and Corvette production began. The Corvette is still being produced to this day, and I must say that the latest Z-06 is about as good as it gets… Although during these years of production there was one-year, 19_ _ (X) that only _ _ (Y) Corvettes were produced, and none of these were offered to the public. The only verifiable Corvette of this year still known to exist is on display in the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
X – Y + 15 – Y = A

There are _ _ (X) vertical bars or "teeth" in the grill of 1956 Corvettes.
X + 5 – 15 = B

The famous "split" rear window for the new Corvette almost never came to be. It seems that Bill Mitchell and Zora Arkus-Duntov argued over the design. Bill Mitchell won out for the 196_ (X) Model, but it was removed for 196_ (Y) never to be seen again.
Y – X + 15 - 10 = C

Only two 19_ (X)_ (Y) Corvettes were sold with the ZL-1 all aluminum 427 engine, making them one of the most rare collector Corvettes of all time.
X + Y – 13 + 4 = D

The big block engine made its final curtain call in the 19_ _ (X) Corvette.
X – 67 + 4 = E

At 2:01 P.M. on March 15th, 19_ (X)_ (Y) ~ The 500,000th Corvette, a white coupe, rolled off the St. Louis assembly line.
X + Y – 12 = F

July 2nd, 19_ (X)_ (Y) marks the day when the one millionth Corvette, a white convertible, rolled off the assembly line.
X – Y – 5 + 6 = G

200_ (X) marks the introduction of the current generation Corvette... known as the C_ (Y).
X + Y – 4 + 1 = H

So, there you have it a short history lesson on the Corvette. I'm sure you will learn plenty more trying to locate the answers. Chevrolet really produced a fantastic car when they built the Corvette... Although not a real great Cache Mobile (Found this out from experience) ~ They are very fun to drive. You are looking for an Ammo box in a place that you probably never knew existed.

HAVE FUN ~~~ AND KEEP YOUR FLAGS CROSSED!!!
