A memorial to Colin Campbell
Came accross this memorial while looking for a standing stone.
This memorial was placed by Lieut. Colonel and Mrs Burnley-Campbell of Ormidale to commerate the death of their son Colin William Burnley-Campbell on the 27 June 1915. He was buried at Chapelle D' Armentieres in Northern France (Picture in gallery).
Please note there is no need to clamber over any fence to access this cache there is a style located in-between the electronic ferry sign and the bridge on the Tighnabruaich Road.
