This cache is the “Milestone” cache. It is designed
to give a cacher a special cache to do that marks a particular
milestone that is achieved in caching. It could be your 1st cache
or your 10,000th cache. Inside of the final you will find the usual
trade goods, and a certificate designed and approved by Paleoman
himself, to take home and frame. You have to fill in the particular
milestone you achieved on the certificate.
I strongly suggest wearing mud boots and long pants when
pursuing this cache.
The journey starts out relatively easy in an urban setting and
eventually ends up in some of the wildest, remotest areas you will
ever see. To achieve a milestone it is common to have to work hard
to get there, this cache is the same way. I didn’t make this
easy because I want the cacher to work for this one.
Once you have found the next leg, follow the directions and head
west toward the creek. Once there walk the deer path until you come
to a little Bridge. The walk to the final is totally up to you, you
can bushwhack your way there or follow old roads, paths and deer
trails. Remember, the reward at the end is not the total reward, it
is the journey you take to get there that makes it so memorable.
Once you have made the discovery at the final check out the really
cool rock nearby, it has lots of swirls in it. As always please be
sure to put every part of this Multicache back exactly how you
found it, or even better for the next finder. Enjoy!
Special Directions!Once you find the first set of
coordinates at the posted cache location you can use this set to
figure out the parking coordinates for the next Leg. To the North
coordinates you found add 37 to the last two numbers. Now take the
west coordinates and subtract 155 from the last three numbers.
These are your parking coordinates. You can finish the rest of the
cache from this parking location.
For the lucky first finder I have included a beautiful hand
chipped arrowhead I made using the local Onondaga Flint
Conratulations to Frogize (with TazD) for her "Milestone" first
to Find!
**I've added a clue to help you find the second
leg.**
